About Us
The Bulletin is a compilation of articles written by faculty and staff in the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois and by Extension educators and specialists in IPM and Crop Systems. The Bulletin is issued weekly throughout the crop-growing season (20 issues from early April to mid-August) and at five additional times in the off-season. The articles provide timely information about pest problems, applied pest management strategies, and crop conditions for the agricultural community. The authors balance a concern for the environment with yield and profit and suggest the wisest course of action for managing insects, weeds, and plant diseases.
